History and administration
Set up at Monterrey Stadium, located at Av. Pablo Livas 2011 (La Pastora, 67140 Guadalupe, Nuevo León), this complex has never changed its official name outside of its regular commercial sponsorships. Supporters call it "El Gigante de Acero," a well-deserved nickname when looking at its massive steel structure wrapped in 5,000 silver aluminum plates, designed to open up toward the famous Cerro de la Silla mountain. It will host matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
